Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Faculty Economics with a strong academic foundation in Economics and Finance. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Behavioural Economics, and be capable of delivering engaging, application-oriented teaching that bridges theoretical concepts with real-world business and economic scenarios. Key Responsibilities • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics. • Deliver high-quality instruction in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Behavioural Economics. • Integrate practical applications, case studies, and current economic trends into classroom teaching. • Develop lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and evaluation methods. • Mentor and guide students in academic projects, research, and career development. • Contribute to curriculum design, revision, and continuous academic improvement. • Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and data-driven decision-making among students. • Participate in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, accreditation activities, and other academic initiatives. • Undertake research, publish in reputed journals, and contribute to the university's research ecosystem. Eligibility Criteria • Master's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. • Ph.D. in Economics or a relevant field is preferred. • Candidates should meet the applicable UGC/AICTE norms, wherever applicable. Experience • 3–10 years of teaching, research, or industry experience in Economics or Finance. • Experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students is preferred. • Candidates with research publications and curriculum development experience will have an added advantage. Required Skills • Strong conceptual knowledge of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Behavioural Economics. • Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills. • Ability to deliver interactive and application-oriented classroom sessions. • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS). • Ability to mentor students and collaborate effectively with faculty members.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
