Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, sauces, stocks, and garnishes.
- Monitor food quality throughout preparation and service.
Kitchen Operations
- Organize and manage assigned kitchen section efficiently.
- Ensure timely preparation of food during service hours.
- Co-ordinate with other kitchen team members for smooth operations.
- Follow kitchen schedules and production plans.
Food Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.
- Store food items properly and monitor freshness.
- Ensure safe handling of kitchen equipment and tools.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Assist in stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Monitor inventory levels in the assigned section.
- Report shortages, spoilage, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Minimize food wastage and support cost-control initiatives.
