The tasks that a Master Cutter (Garments) is expected to perform include:Measuring customers and cutting the cloth accordingly for making garments
Cutting out paper patterns with given measurements
Placing patterns on cloth and marking around with pencil
Cutting various parts along marked lines and giving them for stitching
Supervising stitching and making of garments
Trying the garment on the customer, when prepared
Marking with chalk any alterations to be made
Supervising making and finishing work and finally fitting garment on customer
