We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for guiding students toward the right educational choices. This role requires someone who is patient, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and committed to building long-term relationships with students and the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational goals and recommend suitable courses or programs.
- Follow up with inquiries through phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admissions data.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding process.
- Build strong rapport with students and parents by providing honest, transparent, and helpful guidance.
- Stay updated on course offerings, admission procedures, and institutional policies.
- Contribute to the team's growth by consistently delivering quality counselling and achieving individual performance objectives.
