Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role based in the Greater Patna Area. The Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging CBSE-aligned lessons for Grades 9 and 10, ensuring clear explanation of concepts and structured practice. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing assessments, grading assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to students. The teacher will support diverse learning needs, maintain classroom discipline, and foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment rooted in the school’s values. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, exam invigilation, and school events, as well as contributing to ongoing curriculum improvement.
Qualifications
- 1. Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, especially for CBSE Grades 9 and 10.
- 2. Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with CBSE standards.
- 3. Recognized as a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching credentials and training.
- 4. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training preferred.
- 5. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to engage adolescents with clear, student-centered instruction.
- 6. Strong communication skills in English; ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- 7. Commitment to value-based education and sensitivity to the cultural and religious context of the school community.
- 8. Experience with formative and summative assessment, student mentoring, and collaboration with colleagues is an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
