Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations of a premium South Indian restaurant in Noida. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in South Indian, Kerala, Malabar, and Coastal cuisine, with the ability to maintain exceptional food quality, manage kitchen teams, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
- Supervise food preparation and service during all operating hours.
- Execute and maintain standardized recipes and cooking procedures.
- Develop and standardize recipes and portion control measures.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage shift allocations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and control kitchen costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
- Ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency within the kitchen.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in professional kitchen operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong expertise in South Indian cuisine.
- Experience with Kerala, Malabar, and Coastal cuisine is highly preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of dosa, appam, parotta, curries, seafood preparations, and traditional South Indian cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
