Job Description (JD) – Site Engineer (Installation & After-Sales Service)

Position Summary
We are looking for a Site Engineer to manage installation, commissioning, and after-sales service activities for Aluminum windows and doors. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, customer coordination, quality control, issue resolution, and ensuring timely completion of installation projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Site Management
- Supervise installation of Aluminum windows, doors, and related products at customer sites.
- Monitor manpower, tools, and materials required at site.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, project teams for smooth execution.
- Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before installation.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and maintain installation schedules.
After-Sales Service
- Attend customer complaints and service requests.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to windows, doors, hardware, glass, and accessories.
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain service records and submit reports to management.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
Quality & Safety
- Conduct quality inspections during and after installation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Identify and report site-related risks and issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper material handling at project sites.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Sales, and Customer Support teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Update management regarding project status, delays, and customer feedback.
- Support project handover and closure activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, or related field.
- Experience in windows, aluminum windows, façade, interior, or construction projects preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Skills Required
- Site supervision and project coordination.
- Knowledge of window and door installation processes.
- Customer handling and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read drawings and technical documents.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
