Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right educational programs and support them through the admission process. The ideal candidate should have strong counseling skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to achieve admission targets in the EdTech or education sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents on courses, career opportunities, and admissions.
- Convert inquiries into admissions through effective counseling and regular follow-up.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads via phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Understand students' educational goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and admissions in the CRM.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to ensure a seamless admission process.
- Build long-term relationships with students and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years in Academic Counseling, EdTech, Education, or Inside Sales.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an advantage).
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
