Position: PRT Mother Teacher
Grades: Grade 1 & 2
Department: Primary Section
Location: Anand Niketan Maninagar, Ahmedabad
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Grade 1 & 2 students.
- Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, EVS, and basic General Awareness as assigned.
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor students’ academic progress, behaviour, and overall development.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and maintain required records.
- Provide individual attention and support to students as needed.
- Develop students’ communication, social, emotional, and life skills.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students’ progress and concerns.
- Coordinate with subject teachers, coordinators, and school management.
- Ensure classroom discipline, safety, hygiene, and proper routines.
- Participate in school events, activities, meetings, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent primary teaching qualification.
- Relevant PRT/Primary teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Patient, caring, creative, and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to use activity-based and experiential teaching methods.
- Basic computer/digital teaching skills.
- Freshers with good communication and teaching skills may also be considered
Pay: ₹10,800.00 - ₹25,800.00 per month
