About the Role
We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and link-building strategies. You will work closely with experienced marketers to improve website rankings, increase organic traffic, and support online marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Assist with on-page SEO optimization, including meta titles, meta descriptions, and content improvements.
- Support content optimization based on SEO best practices.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Assist in technical SEO audits and website optimization tasks.
- Help with link-building and outreach activities.
- Track and report SEO performance metrics.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing best practices.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with search engines and keyword research concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO tools is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of HTML and website structure.
- Content writing or blogging experience is a plus.
