Job Summary
We are looking for a well-presented and customer-focused Front Office Assistant to manage guest interactions at the reception. This role involves handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Manage reservations, bookings, and inquiries (calls & walk-ins)
- Provide information about rooms, services, and facilities
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for guest needs
- Handle guest requests and resolve basic complaints promptly
- Maintain accurate records using the hotel management system
- Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel front office or customer service preferred
- Good communication skills (English & Hindi; Assamese is a plus)
- Well-groomed, confident, and polite personality
- Basic computer knowledge (PMS/booking systems preferred) Yashraj Software
- Ability to multitask and work in shifts
