Sales Executive – Field Outreach (Tuition Space Acquisition)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated and confident Sales Executive to join our growing education venture in Coimbatore. Your primary responsibility will be field outreach — visiting residential apartments and housing complexes across the city to identify and secure available spaces from owners and residents for conducting tuition/coaching classes.
Key responsibilities
- Visit residential apartments, gated communities, and housing societies in Coimbatore to meet flat/property owners
- Pitch the concept of renting or sharing available spaces for tuition and coaching class operations
- Build relationships with apartment associations, individual owners, and facility managers
- Negotiate terms, rental duration, and pricing with owners/management
- Maintain a daily log of visits, follow-ups, and conversion outcomes
- Meet weekly targets for space closures and lead generation
- Coordinate with the internal team to handover confirmed spaces for operational setup
- Provide feedback on field insights to improve outreach strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales, direct sales, or business development (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)
- Excellent verbal communication in Tamil; knowledge of English is a plus
- Confident, persuasive, and comfortable with door-to-door outreach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Basic smartphone proficiency for reporting and navigation
- Own two-wheeler preferred (travel allowance provided)
- Local candidate familiar with Coimbatore residential areas preferred
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month, based on performance
- Performance incentives on successful space closures
- Travel/fuel allowance for field visits
- 5-day / 6-day work week
- Growth opportunity into team lead or operations role as the business scale
