About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Python automation, REST API testing, SQL, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python.
- Perform REST API testing and validation using automation frameworks and tools.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Create and execute SQL queries for backend data validation and testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure adherence to software quality standards and testing best practices.
Must Have
- Strong experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience in REST API Automation Testing.
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
