We are looking for a result-oriented Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right courses and career paths. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to convert inquiries into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, training programs, and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, leads, and walk-in inquiries.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents to drive admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and enrollments in CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Conduct course presentations and career guidance sessions.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams for a seamless enrollment process.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Stay updated on course offerings, industry trends, and educational opportunities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, tele-counselling, sales, or customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Ed Tech, Training Institutes, Colleges, or Educational Organizations.
- Lead generation and conversion skills.
