Summary:
As a Deployment Lead, a typical day involves orchestrating the detailed execution of a deployment strategy that encompasses planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. This role requires close collaboration with various project teams to coordinate activities, manage dependencies, and maintain alignment across all deployment efforts. Monitoring progress and controlling the deployment plan are key daily tasks, ensuring that training sessions and pilot programs are effectively integrated into the overall schedule. The Deployment Lead plays a pivotal role in steering the deployment process to successful completion through proactive management and communication.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of deployment strategies to meet project goals.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong knowledge of integration design principles and best practices within Workday environments.
- Experience in managing complex deployment schedules and coordinating multiple teams.
- Ability to analyze and resolve integration issues efficiently to minimize project risks.
- Skilled in using project management tools to track progress and report on deployment metrics.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
