Position Overview
SKP is a globally expanding, listed manufacturing organization with over 30 years of operational excellence. We are seeking a strategic and operationally sharp HR Business Partner to lead our human capital function within a precision manufacturing environment.
The core focus of this role is to design, implement, and manage a data-driven Performance Management System (PMS) directly tied to functional productivity metrics across Shop Floor Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and Support departments.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables1. Performance Management & Productivity
- Design and execute an end-to-end PMS framework aligned with business strategy.
- Establish role-specific Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all technical and support functions.
- Facilitate mid-year and annual review cycles, calibration meetings, and bell-curve normalization.
- Conduct quarterly productivity reviews with Plant and Business Heads to drive data-backed HR decisions.
2. HR Operations, Tech & Statutory Compliance
- Manage attendance, shift scheduling, and employee lifecycle processes via the HRMS platform.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws, including the Factories Act, POSH, Contract Labour Act, and Gujarat state regulations.
- Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate salary disbursements, overtime calculations, and statutory deductions.
- Oversee contract workforce compliance and vendor management.
3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with HODs to formulate Annual Manpower Plans and optimize budgeted headcount.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across levels, from skilled blue-collar operators to mid-management white-collar roles.
- Supervise onboarding programs to ensure rapid integration into our manufacturing culture.
4. L&D and Employee Relations
- Conduct Training Needs Identification (TNI) based on PMS outcomes and competency gaps.
- Implement the Annual Training Calendar covering safety, technical, and leadership programs.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations through structured grievance redressal mechanisms.
5. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain and present periodic HR dashboards covering attrition, manpower costs, PMS compliance, and training hours.
- Analyze function-wise productivity metrics and report variances to executive leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Proven track record as an HR Generalist or HRBP within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in HRMS platforms, advanced data analytics, and reporting tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of statutory compliance and Gujarat labor regulations.
- Capabilities: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge shop-floor execution with executive strategy.
