Designation | Senior Analyst- Manufacturing Apps Required Date | 2026-08-01T00:00:00.000Z Work Location | IN-BANGALORE Qualification | BE Or B.Tech Experience (in years) | 7 Contract Duration (in months) | 12 Job Description | Lead – Manufacturing Applications Role Overview Seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Consultant with 5–10 years of experience in Manufacturing Shopfloor Applications and / or Aveva solutions. The role focuses on solution design, functional consulting, implementation, and business alignment, ensuring solutions effectively support manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Functional Consulting • Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate requirements into solutions • Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend best practices aligned with standard manufacturing applications capabilities • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams 2. Solution Design & Implementation • Lead end-to-end design and configuration of Manufacturing apps and Aveva systems • Define functional architecture and solution blueprint ensuring scalability and adaptability • Ensure standardization across deployments and adherence to global templates 3. MES & Aveva System Expertise • Lead implementation and support of: o Aveva platform based manufacturing applications • Ensure solutions align with manufacturing processes and shopfloor needs 4. Integration & Digital Connectivity • Work with technical teams to enable: o Integration with SAP / enterprise systems o Connectivity with shop floor equipment, PLCs, and IoT devices • Validate data flows and ensure end-to-end process consistency 5. Incident Management & Production Support • Provide functional expertise for manufacturing apps issues impacting production • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions • Ensure minimal production disruption and faster issue resolution 6. Governance & Standardization • Implement standard methodologies, templates, and best practices • Ensure consistency across global manufacturing apps implementations • Support data governance, lifecycle management, and change control processes 7. Cybersecurity & Compliance • Ensure manufacturing app solutions comply with cybersecurity standards and policies • Work with security teams to protect manufacturing data 8. Training & Change Management • Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions • Drive adoption of manufacturing apps across plants • Create documentation, SOPs, and quick reference guides 9. Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to: o Optimize processes o Improve system performance o Introduce new capabilities aligned to industry trends Requirements Education • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / IT / Computer Science or related field) Experience • 5–10 years of experience in: o Manufacturing apps implementation and support o Manufacturing operations and digital transformation Functional Skills • Strong understanding of: o Discrete manufacturing processes o Shopfloor operations and workflows o Manufacturing apps best practices and standards Technical Awareness (Not Core Development Role) • Working knowledge of: o Manufacturing apps platforms (Aveva, etc.) o System integration and data flows o SQL / database concepts Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder communication and consulting skills • Project Management skills • Ability to work across global, cross-functional teams • Problem-solving mindset with focus on business value Skill Set Required | Experience SQL Server Experience with working on a Manufacturing applications (Aveva, etc) would be a plus Proven experience (5-10 years) in implementing and supporting Manufacturing applications. Strong knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes and industry standards. Proficiency in system integration, data analysis, and troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
