We are a leading education consultancy dedicated to helping students identify the right academic programs and career paths. We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and result-oriented Senior Counselor to join our energetic team at our Worli, Mumbai office.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding educational programs, courses, and admission opportunities.
- Handle prospective student leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, requirements, and career aspirations.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility criteria, fees, and admission processes.
- Conduct effective counseling sessions and guide students toward suitable programs.
- Follow up consistently with prospective students and parents to drive admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM.
- Achieve individual and team-based counseling and admission targets.
- Build strong and positive relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Coordinate with academic advisors and internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Handle student queries and resolve concerns professionally.
- Support and guide junior counselors when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in education counseling, admissions, sales, telecalling, or customer relationship management.
- Experience in the education/EdTech sector will be an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counseling, active listening, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Confident in handling students and parents over calls and in-person meetings.
- Target-oriented with a strong focus on lead conversion and admissions.
- Good working knowledge of CRM systems and basic computer applications.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
