Experience in Azure Databricks

Experience of Data focused Architect/Design role such as Data Architect, Business Intelligence Architect.

Experience in the design and development of Data Warehouse, BI, Analytics or similar data solutions.

Strong conceptual, logical and physical data modelling, data lineage/data flow mapping and data quality.

An understanding of Data Warehousing and Big Data architecture principles.

Familiar with ETL pipelines and data loading systems.
-
Experienced in collaborative working across other multi-disciplinary teams e.g. Infrastructure, integration etc.
- Strong communication skills, working on global/international projects within multi-disciplinary teams with colleagues in both technical and business facing roles.

Demonstrable experience working with challenging and demanding stakeholders

Experience of working on Agile projects.

Experience of reviewing, evaluating, and designing data services, physical and logical data models and implementing high quality data architecture.

Identifies key data sources from systems to meet project requirements; constructs data quality control solutions; provides data flow diagrams; implement conformant data warehouse designs to support high-quality reporting, analytics, data science and BI.

Experience of creating strategies and roadmaps and creating content for senior leaders or non-technical business stakeholders.

Experience of influencing stakeholders to adoption new strategies and ways of approaching data governance and management.

Experience defining best practices and technical leadership of data governance and management for area of responsibility.
