Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Social Sciences, Geography, Rural Development, Environmental Planning, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, due diligence, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel for field assignments as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land acquisition and due diligence studies for infrastructure and development projects.
- Review land ownership records, cadastral maps, and land use details.
- Assist in Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) planning.
- Coordinate with revenue authorities, project proponents, affected landowners, and other stakeholders.
- Assess project impacts on landowners, livelihoods, and community assets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable land acquisition laws, regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and land acquisition documentation.
- Familiarity with land acquisition laws, government procedures, and statutory regulations will be preferred.
