About Us
Devkrishna Trucking is an authorized BharatBenz dealership handling Sales, Service, and Parts for Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). We're growing our service operations and looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our workshop team.
Role Overview
The Service Advisor will act as the primary link between customers and the service workshop — handling vehicle check-ins, understanding customer complaints, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely, transparent service delivery for BharatBenz trucks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and record vehicle details, complaints, and service history at check-in
- Prepare job cards and estimate repair/service costs and turnaround time
- Coordinate with the workshop team (technicians, Service Manager) to track job progress
- Explain repair work, costs, and warranty coverage clearly to customers
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status and manage timely delivery
- Ensure proper documentation for warranty claims and AMC/service contracts
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Maintain service quality standards and DICV service protocols
- Support billing and invoicing coordination with the accounts team
- Promote value-added services, spare parts, and maintenance packages
Requirements
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Graduate preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor, preferably in commercial vehicles/CV dealership (BharatBenz, Tata, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, etc.)
- Good knowledge of truck/commercial vehicle mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and local language; basic English preferred
- Customer service orientation with problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (DMS/billing software knowledge is a plus)
- Willingness to work at the workshop location in Supaul
