About the Role
We are looking for a Merchant Onboarding Agent to help catering companies, food suppliers, and restaurant partners get set up on our platform
You will be responsible for guiding merchants from account setup to live outlet publishing. This includes collecting information, configuring merchant profiles, adding outlets, helping with product/menu setup, setting delivery rules, training merchant staff, and making sure each merchant is ready to receive orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide new merchants through the onboarding process.
- Collect merchant business details, outlet details, menu/product information, pricing, policies, and operating hours.
- Help configure merchant dashboards.
- Add or review outlet information, delivery areas/airports, product categories, display items, fees, and terms.
- Help merchants add staff and understand role-based permissions.
- Train merchants on how to manage orders, support tickets, outlet settings, and account details.
- Track onboarding progress and follow up on missing information.
- Escalate technical or operational issues to the relevant team.
- Maintain onboarding records, checklists, and merchant notes.
Required Experience
- 1–4 years in merchant onboarding, customer success, SaaS implementation, account setup, food delivery operations, or marketplace support.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable explaining software to non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven.
- Comfortable using CRM, ticketing systems, spreadsheets, and admin dashboards.
- Good written English.
Preferred Background
- Experience onboarding restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering companies, grocery sellers, or delivery partners.
- Experience in Delivery Hero, Talabat, Noon Food, Kitopi, Careem, Zomato, Foodics, UrbanPiper, or similar platforms B2B or food tech platforms.
- Experience with B2B SaaS onboarding or customer success.
- Aviation knowledge
Starting Salary as advertised - plus bonus and performance related pay
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
