Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Machine Maintenance Parts & Tools Store Incharge to manage the inventory of machine spare parts, maintenance consumables, and tools required for our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance components and ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of machine maintenance spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials from vendors.
- Issue spare parts and tools against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain proper storage, identification, and labeling of all materials.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Raise purchase requisitions for critical and fast-moving spare parts.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance and Purchase departments for urgent requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in MS Excel/ERP.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
- Maintain a tool issue and return register.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices in the maintenance store.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures.
