About the Role
Path Creator Tutorial is looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Department (HOD) – Arts to lead and manage the academic operations of the Arts department. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic knowledge, leadership qualities, student-handling capabilities, and excellent coordination skills.
This role requires an individual who can effectively manage faculty coordination, student assessments, lecture planning, examinations, and overall departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the daily academic activities of the Arts department
- Prepare lecture plans, study materials, assignments, and academic schedules
- Conduct and supervise examinations, assessments, and evaluations
- Monitor student performance and provide academic guidance when required
- Ensure smooth coordination between students, faculty members, and management
- Maintain academic discipline and ensure quality teaching standards
- Organize departmental meetings, academic reviews, and student progress reports
- Support admissions counselling and parent interactions when required
- Develop strategies to improve student engagement and academic performance
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and academic targets
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Postgraduate from an Arts background
- Prior experience in teaching, coordination, or academic management preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage students and faculty effectively
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and academic documentation
