The School Transport Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all aspects of the school's transportation services. This role ensures the safety, reliability, and efficiency of school bus services, while also adhering to relevant regulations and policies. Have to coordinate with PR and Admissions Dept and interact with parents on Transport issues.
Key Responsibilities: Fleet Management: Manage the school's fleet of vehicles, including buses and other transportation vehicles. Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Route Planning: Develop and optimize bus routes to ensure efficient transportation and minimal travel time for students. Consider factors like student population, road conditions, and traffic patterns. Be well aware of road diversions and special events in city and appraise the management on the rerouting and planning.
Driver & attenders - Management: Recruit, train, and supervise school bus drivers. Ensure drivers are properly licensed, trained in safety procedures, and comply with all relevant regulations.
Safety and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on safety by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and policies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the transportation budget, including expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and personnel. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality service.
Communication: Liaise with school Principal, Administrators, Parents, and relevant authorities to address transportation-related concerns and issues. Provide timely information to parents about routes, schedules, and changes.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for transportation incidents. Coordinate with relevant authorities in case of accidents or emergencies.
Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver schedules, and student transportation data. Prepare reports for school administration as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in transportation services. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement changes as necessary.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
