Job Description: Structural Supervisor
We are looking for a Structural Supervisor for road construction projects in hilly terrain. The candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day structural works such as culverts, minor bridges, drains, retaining walls, breast walls, protection works, foundations, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and finishing works under the guidance of the Structural Engineer or Project Manager.
The candidate should have practical site knowledge and should be able to manage labour, machinery, materials, and contractor teams at work locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily structural construction activities at site.
- Monitor culverts, minor bridges, drains, retaining walls, breast walls, foundations, parapets, crash barriers, and protection works.
- Supervise excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, curing, backfilling, and finishing activities.
- Coordinate with survey team for line, level, alignment, foundation levels, and structure marking.
- Check basic reinforcement placement, shuttering line/level, cover blocks, concrete placement, compaction, and curing.
- Ensure proper deployment of labour, machinery, materials, and subcontractor teams.
- Guide masons, bar benders, carpenters, labour teams, operators, foremen, and contractors during execution.
- Support execution of hill road structures in difficult site conditions, including narrow access, steep slopes, water flow, and restricted working space.
- Maintain daily records of manpower, machinery, material consumption, concrete poured, and work progress.
- Report site issues such as weak foundation strata, water seepage, slope failure, drawing mismatch, material shortage, or safety risks to senior engineers.
- Ensure work is carried out as per site instructions, drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Assist QA/QC team during reinforcement checks, concrete testing, cube casting, and inspections.
- Maintain safe working conditions during excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, lifting, and work at height.
Required Qualification & Experience
- ITI, Diploma, or relevant qualification/site experience in civil or structural works.
- Practical experience in culverts, minor bridges, retaining walls, drains, RCC works, or road structure works.
- Basic knowledge of structural site supervision and construction methodology.
- Experience in hilly terrain road projects will be preferred.
- Ability to manage labour and machinery at site under guidance of senior engineers.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
