Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with expertise in Playwright and/or Tricentis TOSCA to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role requires strong experience in test automation frameworks, functional testing, regression testing, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to enhance testing efficiency and software quality.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and/or TOSCA .
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to create effective test strategies and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Build reusable automation components and test frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Generate test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Skills
3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using JavaScript/TypeScript or C#.
Experience in Tricentis TOSCA test automation tool.
Strong understanding of test automation concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar.
Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Exposure to Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of Test Data Management and Service Virtualization.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, or Retail domains.
Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
TOSCA Automation Specialist certification or equivalent.
