Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager (PPC) to lead and manage production planning and control activities in our electronics manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the electronics industry with good knowledge of manufacturing processes, electronic components, production testing, and team coordination.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, timely dispatches, adherence to quality standards, and effective coordination with cross-functional departments including Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly Production Planning & Control (PPC) schedules.
- Monitor and manage complete production activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Sales teams for smooth production flow.
- Supervise and guide Production Incharges and shop floor activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
- Monitor manufacturing and testing processes for quality and efficiency.
- Ensure timely material availability for production requirements.
- Maintain dispatch schedules and ensure timely shipment of finished goods.
- Implement and maintain quality standards and process discipline.
- Ensure compliance with QMS (Quality Management System) procedures and documentation.
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and reduce rework/rejections.
- Prepare production reports, MIS, and status updates for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
- Good knowledge of:
- Electronic components
- Manufacturing processes
- Testing procedures
- Production planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with QMS / ISO procedures.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
