The Role
We are looking for a driven and culturally curious Sales Representative to help expand the reach of our premium publications. In this role, you will be the bridge between our visual heritage projects and the readers, institutions, and retailers who value them. If you have a knack for building relationships and an appreciation for history, photography, and high-quality books, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B & Institutional Sales: Identify and pitch to potential buyers, including premium bookstores, heritage societies, educational institutions, and corporate clients (focusing on corporate gifting).
- Event Sales & Promotion: Manage book stalls and promotional activities at college history events, literary festivals, and cultural exhibitions to drive direct-to-consumer sales.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and institutional partners.
- Market Expansion: Proactively seek out new sales channels and partnerships to increase the visibility of our visual documentation series and upcoming releases.
- Campaign Support: Assist the marketing and launch teams during major all-India book releases, ensuring our titles reach their maximum market potential.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or field marketing (experience in publishing, media, or premium gifting is a strong advantage), Atleast 1 to 2 Years, Freshers will be Hired on Capability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch premium products.
- A genuine interest in Indian history, heritage conservation, or photography will help you authentically connect with our target audience.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally for client meetings and promotional events as required.
