ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Subject Matter Expertise:
· Possess in-depth knowledge of the assigned grade's subject(s).
· Implement the school's curriculum following specific methodologies or standards.
· Stay updated with developments in the field of education and the subject(s) they teach.
Curriculum Implementation:
· Interpret the given lesson plans and prepare lesson notes aligned with educational standards and learning objectives.
· Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote critical thinking.
· Deliver lessons effectively, catering to diverse learning styles and ensuring student comprehension.
· Utilize technology tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
· Conduct active learning sessions to encourage critical thinking in students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
· Assess student understanding through quizzes, tests, projects, and other assessment tools.
· Prepare revision worksheets and answer keys as necessary.
· Provide constructive feedback to students to aid in their learning improvement.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
· Manage student behaviour, foster respect, and promote inclusivity. Ensure students' safety and well-being in the classroom.
· Promote inclusivity and address individual needs.
Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
· Document lesson notes, logbooks, marks register, and other records as per the instructions given by the principal.
· Keep track of professional development activities, certifications, and achievements.
Communication and Collaboration:
· Provide clear instructions and expectations for assignments and assessments.
· Respond to parent inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and specialists to share best practices and support school initiatives.
· Participate in extracurricular activities, clubs, committees, and events to contribute to the overall school community and student development.
Upskilling:
· Update subject knowledge and teaching techniques continuously.
· Participate in professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching skills.
Pay: ₹9,792.24 - ₹28,000.00 per month
