Role Overview
We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 2–5 years of experience to join our development team. The role involves building, customizing, and maintaining high-performance websites using WordPress and related web technologies. You will work across both front-end and back-end development, ensuring responsive design, clean code, and optimized performance for client projects.
Responsibilities
· Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress
· Build custom themes and templates based on design requirements
· Develop and maintain custom plugins as per business needs
· Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript to extend WordPress functionality
· Customize and configure existing WordPress themes and plugins
· Ensure responsive design across all devices and browsers
· Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and scalability
· Manage and maintain WooCommerce stores (products, checkout, payments, shipping)
· Integrate third-party APIs and external services with WordPress
· Handle website debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
· Perform regular WordPress updates, backups, and security maintenance
· Work with MySQL databases for data handling and optimization
· Follow WordPress coding standards and write clean, reusable code
· Use Git version control for development and deployment workflows
· Ensure website security best practices (hardening, plugin audits, malware protection)
· Improve and maintain existing WordPress websites and features
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development
· Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress
· Good understanding of PHP and backend development
· Experience with theme and plugin customization
· Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first web design principles
· Understanding of WordPress plugins and ecosystem
· Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize website performance
· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
· Good communication and teamwork abilities
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
