Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor with strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to oversee production operations, ensure smooth functioning of automated machinery, and maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities in the plant.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled machines.
- Ensure uninterrupted production by coordinating with the maintenance team.
- Monitor production targets and minimize downtime.
- Lead and guide machine operators and production staff.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain production records, machine logs, and shift reports.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in PLC-based manufacturing operations.
- Experience in food processing or spices manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, or equivalent).
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
Preferred Skills
- PLC troubleshooting and basic programming knowledge.
- SCADA/HMI operation.
- Production planning and manpower supervision.
- Root cause analysis and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
