Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer with a valid C License to manage electrical operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance activities at an IT industry facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable and safe operation of all electrical systems and maintaining compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day electrical maintenance and facility operations.
- Supervise and coordinate electrical technicians and maintenance staff.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, ACBs, MCCBs, UPS, APFC panels, MDB/SMDB/DBs, and related equipment.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitor electrical parameters and maintain equipment performance.
- Ensure proper operation of emergency power systems, including DG and UPS systems.
- Perform routine inspection of electrical panels, cables, earthing systems, lighting, and other electrical installations.
- Coordinate electrical shutdowns, maintenance activities, and restoration of power.
- Maintain daily logbooks, checklists, PM records, breakdown reports, and other maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, statutory requirements, and site SOPs.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, OEMs, and internal teams for maintenance activities.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of services.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in electrical rooms and utility areas.
- Support audits, inspections, and statutory compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid C License is mandatory.
- 2–5 years of experience in facility management / IT park / commercial building / industrial electrical maintenance.
- Good knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems and facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT Parks, Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, or Corporate Facilities will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of BMS/IBMS, HVAC electrical systems, fire & life safety systems, and DG/UPS systems is preferred.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and work in shifts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹21,000 – ₹30,000 per month, based on qualification and experience.
