Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman with at least 2 years of experience in the architecture/interior design industry. You will be responsible for converting architectural concepts into accurate technical drawings for high-end residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Drafting: Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and RCPs (Reflected Ceiling Plans).
- GFC Drawings: Generate "Good for Construction" (GFC) sets with precise measurements for site execution.
- Joinery & Detailing: Create detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, and wall paneling (High-end finishes).
- Coordination: Incorporate inputs from structural and MEP (Electrical/Plumbing) consultants into the main architectural set.
- Revisions: Quickly update drawings based on site changes or client feedback.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years as a Draftsman in an Architecture or Interior Design firm.
- Software: Mastery of AutoCAD (2D) is essential. Basic knowledge of 3D software (Sketchup) or Revit is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials, thicknesses, and layering standards in AutoCAD.
- Speed & Accuracy: Ability to deliver error-free drawings within tight deadlines.
- Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering, ITI Draftsmanship, or a related certification.
