Role Summary: The manufacturing engineering supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and pump testing, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the plant. Participates in and maintains improvement projects to enhance safety, improves quality, reduce the cost of nonconformance, adopts lean principles and processes, and promotes customer satisfaction (internal and external).
Instruct, direct, motivate and monitor the performance of all team members
Develop and maintain a team of Engineers to support Pump projects Engineering activities
Collaboration with GTEC teams to fulfill the BU expectation
Manage and lead by example to inspire the team to grow in Flowserve with strong engineering & technical capabilities.
Drive a culture within the team based on customer focus, ethics, and a strong commitment to handling orders.
Oversee job management and backlog, aligning assignments with individual skillsets to provide timely completion of assigned work with effective utilization of resources
Review and approve the work done by the team and work closely with the engineers, guide, motivate and coach them to meet the business expectations.
Maintain monthly metrics for OTD, quality, efficiency, utilization and productivity, identifying and mitigating any variances from performance expectations at the individual or team level
Provide accurate and informative reports to respective Managers and evaluate the results of project assignments along with appropriate recommended course of action
Focus to build competent engineers in both technical & professional and guide them to meet & exceed their performance metrics to support Flowserve organization.
Provide guidelines to the individual contributors in Laguna & manage them effectively to achieve business targets.
Work closely with the management on training and development opportunities for the team members
Ensure to adapt to Flowserve culture and meet the requirement of leadership and functional competencies.
Drive continuous improvement process culture across the team in collaboration with the organization.

Bachelors /master’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Minimum 12+ years of industrial experience in engineering (Oil & Gas industry, project engineering, 3D design, electrical engineering, instrumentation and interpreting customer specifications).
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to apply technology to creatively solve problems and meet business and stakeholder needs.
Solid understanding of engineering CAD, PLM and other tools that are integral to the execution of order engineering work.

Good interpersonal skills and emotional IQ with a demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships.
