Job Description
Dreamstep Design & Construction is looking for a skilled Cutlist Maker to join our modular furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing accurate cutlists, BOMs, and production drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, vanities, and custom furniture.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cutlists for modular furniture production.
- Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) for manufacturing.
- Optimize sheet utilization to minimize material wastage.
- Prepare machining drawings for CNC production.
- Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams.
- Verify dimensions from approved drawings.
- Maintain production documentation and revisions.
- Ensure accuracy in panel sizes, edge banding, drilling, and hardware details.
- Support factory operations with production planning.
Required Skills
- Experience in Cutlist software (Cutlist Plus, Nesting Software, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Understanding of modular furniture construction.
- Good knowledge of plywood, MDF, laminates, acrylic, veneers, hardware, and edge banding.
- Ability to read interior working drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualification
- 1–3 years of experience in a modular furniture factory.
