- Operations and staff management: Oversee daily branch operations, recruit, train, and manage staff, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Financial management: Develop and manage the branch budget, monitor financial performance (revenue, costs, profits), and prepare financial reports.
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals, meet sales targets, and grow the customer base.
- Customer relations: Ensure high standards of customer service, handle escalated complaints, and build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Compliance: Ensure the branch operates in compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and legal and financial regulations.
- Reporting: Analyze market trends and competitor activities, and prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in branch management or a similar leadership role in financial services.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is often required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with financial management software and MS Office.
