Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Steward to oversee kitchen cleaning and stewarding operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel, restaurant, or facility management environments and be capable of supervising stewarding staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen support operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the stewarding team on a daily basis.
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, stores, and waste disposal areas.
- Monitor dishwashing and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment.
- Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to support operational needs.
- Train junior stewards on cleaning procedures and safety practices.
- Handle waste segregation and disposal as per company guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the concerned department.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Senior Steward or Stewarding Supervisor.
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or facility management companies preferred.
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Basic communication skills in English or Hindi.
- Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Pay: ₹18,236.74 - ₹21,768.54 per month
