About the Company
A leading multinational company (MNC) and pioneer in manufacturing innovative self-heating portable food boxes is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join its Ahmedabad manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing and business operations.
- Analyze existing processes and implement improvements for higher efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage operational systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
- Coordinate closely with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Management teams.
- Monitor production KPIs and maintain quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and lead operational staff.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and supply requirements.
- Support strategic operational initiatives as directed by the CEO.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of operations management, budgeting, costing, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with business and financial principles.
- Experience in a food manufacturing/food service industry is preferred.
- Experience in a start-up environment will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills (Fluency is Mandatory).
