Position: Quality Controller – Diamond
We are seeking a detail-oriented Diamond QC to inspect and ensure the quality of diamonds and diamond jewellery before they reach the showroom or customers. The candidate will be responsible for verifying diamond authenticity, checking setting quality, and ensuring products meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect loose diamonds and finished diamond jewellery for quality and defects.
- Verify diamond weight, size, and matching with purchase or certification details.
- Check diamond settings to ensure stones are secure and properly aligned.
- Identify cracks, chips, scratches, or other defects in diamonds or jewellery.
- Ensure diamonds meet the required cut, color, clarity, and carat (4C) standards.
- Perform quality checks before stock entry or showroom display.
- Maintain QC inspection records and reports.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and showroom teams regarding quality issues.
- Ensure company quality standards are maintained for all diamond jewellery.
Requirements
- Diploma / Certification in Gemology or Jewellery Quality Control preferred.
- 1–3 years experience in Diamond QC or Jewellery QC.
- Good knowledge of diamond grading and inspection techniques.
- Ability to use tools such as loupe, microscope, and diamond tester.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic computer knowledge for documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of diamond certification standards.
- Experience in jewellery manufacturing or showroom quality control.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
