About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our QSR outlet in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in restaurant operations, team management, customer service, and sales performance. The role requires a proactive individual who can lead shifts effectively, maintain operational excellence, and ensure a superior guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Restaurant Operations
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and shift activities.
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and service.
- Monitor opening and closing procedures and ensure operational readiness.
Team Management
- Supervise and guide restaurant staff during shifts.
- Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and grooming standards.
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and manpower allocation.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Build a positive and welcoming dining environment.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement measures.
Sales & Business Performance
- Support achievement of sales targets and operational KPIs.
- Drive upselling and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, and inventory consumption.
- Assist in stock management and vendor coordination.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Conduct regular quality checks and operational audits.
- Maintain required records and operational documentation.
Candidate Requirements Qualifications
- Graduate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a QSR, café chain, restaurant, or food service establishment.
- Experience in handling shift operations and team supervision.
Skills Required
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
