Job Title: PPC Engineer (Metal Manufacturing)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or related field.
Experience:
5–8 years in Production Planning & Control (PPC) within a metal manufacturing setup. Hands-on exposure to fabrication processes such as welding, CNC laser cutting, press brake forming, and assembly. Experience in raw material planning for sheet metal, structural steel, and consumables.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory control
- Ability to read technical drawings and fabrication schematics
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and planning tools
Preferred:
- APICS CPIM or similar certification (optional)
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
- Experience in ISO 9001 environment (14001/45001 is a plus)
Working Conditions:
Regular shop floor interaction; coordination across shifts and occasional overtime planning required.
