Job Summary
We are looking for a Production Engineer with experience in automotive manufacturing and assembly operations. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower allocation, process compliance, quality monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring smooth production line operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily production plans and ensure material availability.
- Allocate manpower on sub-assembly and main assembly lines based on production requirements and skill matrix.
- Execute production activities as per Process Flow, SOPs, and Control Plans.
- Ensure availability and display of production documents such as DRM sheets, rework sheets, production reports, rejection sheets, and PPE requirements.
- Verify daily production quantities and provide guidance to operators after shift completion.
- Participate in daily morning meetings, suggestion meetings, and monthly review meetings.
- Attend red bin meetings for rejection and scrap analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Train new employees on SOPs, 5S, Job Handling (JH), Control Plans, Product Knowledge, Process Parameters, and EHSMS requirements.
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and Poka-Yoke.
- Coordinate with concerned departments for improvements related to tooling, machinery, safety, and productivity.
