Drive store-level revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).
Monitor KPIs: conversion rate, average bill value (ABV), footfall vs sales ratio.
Upsell and cross-sell across categories (e.g., curtains + blinds + upholstery).
Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Track competitor offerings and market trends.
2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Ensure premium in-store experience aligned with brand positioning.
Handle high-value clients, interior designers, architects, and repeat customers.
Resolve escalations and complaints professionally.
Build long-term customer relationships for referrals and repeat business.
Guide clients on product selection, customization, and styling.
3. Product Knowledge & Advisory
Deep understanding of:
Fabrics (linen, velvet, sheers, blackout, etc.)
Finishes, textures, and durability
Installation requirements (curtains, blinds, wallpapers, upholstery)
Provide solution-based selling, not just product selling.
Stay updated with design trends, color palettes, and global décor styles.
4. Visual Merchandising (VM) & Store Presentation
Maintain aesthetic and aspirational store displays.
Plan theme-based displays (festive, seasonal, trend-driven).
Ensure proper product placement, lighting, and signage.
Coordinate with design/VM teams for layout updates.
5. Team Management & Training
Lead and supervise sales executives and floor staff.
Set individual targets and monitor performance.
Conduct product training, sales skill development, and grooming sessions.
Manage staff scheduling and motivation.
6. Inventory & Stock Control
Maintain optimal stock levels across SKUs.
Coordinate with warehouse/vendors for replenishment.
Monitor fast-moving vs slow-moving inventory.
Minimize stock loss, damage, and dead inventory.
7. Vendor & Order Management
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and installers.
Ensure timely order processing, delivery, and installation.
Handle custom orders and ensure accuracy in specifications.
8. Operations & Store Administration
Oversee daily store operations (billing, cash handling, reporting).
Maintain store hygiene, safety, and compliance standards.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management.
Ensure smooth coordination between sales, design, and execution teams.
9. Marketing & Business Development
Execute local marketing initiatives (events, exhibitions, tie-ups).
Build relationships with architects, interior designers, and builders.
Leverage social media and digital leads for walk-ins.
Identify new revenue opportunities (B2B, bulk orders, projects).
10. After-Sales Service & Execution Follow-up
Ensure smooth installation and project completion.
Handle post-installation issues (alterations, defects).
Maintain customer satisfaction through end-to-end service tracking.
