Position Overview
The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the complete store and logistics operations at the water treatment site. The role includes inventory control, documentation, material dispatch coordination, and vendor follow-ups. Proficiency in Tally ERP, E-way bill generation, and purchase documentation is essential to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth project support.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Management
- Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials, spares, and consumables.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, material issue slips, and other store records.
- Maintain stock accuracy through Tally ERP and conduct regular reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise material requisitions as needed.
- Conduct monthly physical stock verification and submit reconciliation reports.
- Manage return goods, scrap items, and related documentation.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Prepare delivery notes, gate passes, and dispatch documentation.
- Manage dispatch schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials to sites or customers.
- Handle E-way bill generation and ensure proper GST documentation for dispatches.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for smooth movement of goods.
- Handle urgent or emergency shipments as per project or customer requirements.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, production, and warehouse teams for material planning.
- Follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) and pending deliveries with suppliers.
- Liaise with vendors for inbound and outbound logistics and documentation.
- Support accounts and finance in invoice verification and material reconciliation.
ERP / Tally & Compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/Tally systems.
- Record all inwards, outwards, and stock journals accurately in Tally.
- Generate reports and stock summaries periodically for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Mechanical, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 3–8 years in store/inventory/dispatch operations, preferably in Water Treatment, Construction, or Industrial Projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP (Inventory, Purchase, and Accounts Modules).
- Experience in E-way bill generation, GST documentation, and PO follow-ups.
- Familiar with logistics coordination and vendor communication.
- Proficient in MS Excel and reporting formats.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
