SERVICE ADVISOR FOR MARUTI SUZUKI SERVICE CENTER
Job Summary
We are looking for a customer-focused and technically knowledgeable Automobile Service Advisor to act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth service experience by understanding customer concerns, coordinating with technicians, and delivering timely and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand vehicle issues or service requirements
- Provide accurate service recommendations, estimates, and timelines
- Open and manage job cards/work orders for vehicles
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repairs
- Communicate progress updates, delays, and additional repair needs to customers
- Ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles with quality checks
- Handle customer complaints and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Maintain service records and documentation
- Promote additional services, maintenance packages, and products when appropriate
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in an automotive service or customer-facing role
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in service management software and basic computer skills
