We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire students through visual arts education. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, develop students’ artistic skills, and introduce them to a wide range of art techniques, media, and art history. The Art Teacher should be enthusiastic, organized, and committed to cultivating a supportive and dynamic classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum aligned with educational standards and school goals.
- Teach various art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media.
- Encourage students to express themselves creatively while developing technical skills.
- Organize and display student artwork within the school and in community exhibitions.
- Assess student progress through portfolios, presentations, and assessments.
- Provide individualized support to students based on their learning needs and artistic goals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized art room and manage art supplies responsibly.
- Incorporate art history and cultural context into lessons to deepen student understanding.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments on cross-curricular projects.
- Participate in school functions, parent-teacher meetings, and staff development programs.
