Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with dealers to gather information on product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Communicate with vendors on a daily basis to inquire about product availability, negotiate prices, and follow up on orders.
- Engage with suppliers to procure equipment and materials required for various projects or operations.
- Continuous evaluation of existing suppliers and explore opportunities to onboard new suppliers to enhance product quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Release purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Track the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the finance, Sales, and Sourcing departments to ensure timely payment processing and resolve any invoicing discrepancies.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement operations.
- Prepare regular reports and updates on procurement activities, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor performance metrics.
- Follow-up with existing vendors on order status, payments and new inquiries made.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. (Preference will be given to candidates from the healthcare field).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
