Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sanskrit Teacher to inspire students and promote an appreciation for the Sanskrit language, literature, and Indian cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver effective lessons, and support students in achieving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, literature, and conversational Sanskrit as appropriate for the grade level.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and assignments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Organize cultural activities, language competitions, and events related to Sanskrit and Indian heritage.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and other school activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred/mandatory as per school requirements).
- Strong command of spoken and written Sanskrit.
- Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse learning abilities.
Experience
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may apply.
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a school is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,226.14 - ₹15,280.88 per month
