The Centre Head will be responsible for the overall academic quality, child care, staff management, parent relations, admissions and smooth functioning of Kidzee Edappally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise teachers and support staff.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Kidzee curriculum and Péntemind approach.
- Monitor children's learning, development, safety, wellbeing and settling-in process.
- Maintain high standards of classroom teaching, hygiene, discipline and child safety.
- Build strong relationships with parents and handle their queries, concerns and complaints.
- Handle admission enquiries, calls, follow-ups and the complete admission process for Preschool and Daycare.
- Coordinate fee collection, payment reminders and fee receipts.
- Maintain admission records, attendance registers, Daycare records and online databases.
- Monitor and update eKidzee/Péntemind platforms as required.
- Guide teachers on lesson plans, teaching methods, teaching aids and individual child requirements.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and support teacher development.
- Coordinate uniforms, books, teaching materials and other student requirements.
- Plan and coordinate events, celebrations and parent engagement activities.
- Manage class communication/WhatsApp groups and ensure timely communication with parents.
- Coordinate transport-related attendance updates and routine centre maintenance.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to Kidzee rules, regulations, policies and safety procedures.
- Keep management informed about daily centre activities, admissions, parent concerns and staff matters.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Centre Head in a preschool/early childhood education centre is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in managing teachers, parents, admissions and centre operations.
- Good knowledge of preschool academics and child development.
- Basic computer and documentation skills (Excel & Word required).
